Most misses, most completed passes, favourite player, greatest distance covered, best manager, whatever. Your chance to vote for those who don't normally get elected for anything. Well done Lymmerpool on their first ever Lymm Dads league title. However, it looks like the team will be broken up as the new managers bring in their own favoured players. Suggestions for next season: North Lymm v South Lymm. Anyone living on the canal is neutral and has to referee. Defenders v Attackers. Blues v Reds Tallest v Smallest Oldest v Youngest A-Ms v N-Zs Ravenclaws v Hufflepuffs

Despite the nail-biting finish to this season, I feel that the teams were rather unbalanced overall. I think this was particularly evident on Wednesday night as we on Dave Melia's side had to work damned hard just to keep the score level. Might I suggest a sub-committee to scrutinize team selections at the start of each season. Or how about player seeding or banding? I think we're all big enough (yes, even you David Ward) to acknowledge that God has gifted some of us more than others with footballing talent. What does anyone else think?

You weren't complaining after two games of the season, when you were six points ahead, Mr Hamill! Or after seven games when both teams were level on points. Even on Wednesday, you only had to beat us by a clear ten goals to win the title, so it was all to play for right up to the final game. I think the main difference last season was having a consistent line-up. Lymmerpool fielded a settled side most weeks, whilst Argyle were hit by injuries to Whiston, Hodges, Hemy, Foster, and had key players out during school holidays. I take your point about rankings, and this is already taken into consideration by managers as they pick their sides at the start of each season. We have just had two of our most experienced players acting as managers - Melia and Stanley. Our new managers, McGrail and Meadows know the strengths and weaknesses of the squad members, and have from the website, details of which players play the most. I am sure from this, they will come up with two very evenly matched teams. Bring on Season 3. Thaksin Lymmawatra for President!

Can I apply for a band 'D' as well. Does that mean I don't have to work so hard?
