Given recent debate, it was surprising that only 20 Lymm Dads turned up last night. Which you would have thought would have made two teams of 10. With acres of space to work with, the two Lymm Rovers trainers weighed in heavily, but controversially, for the Revolution especially early on. Should the game count for this season? Was there a sale on at the Trafford Centre tonight? Have your say.

The Revolution is to cheat!!!!!!! Sorry that Iwasn't there guys. I'd have known to not let Johnny Marsh and Mike Green on the same team (unless, of course, it was mine). Well done to the Galaxy in what must ahve been a tough night.

Speedy And Skilful gave them an 11-10 advantage and Colours scored twice I think before MC Hamill arrived to make it 11 a side. I thought Revolution's decision to play the SAS in those circumstances was absolute bullsh*t.
MB and Stanman did very well to keep the Galaxy going forward after the early onslaught. Once we had 11 each things began to even out. Some of the goals, and the lead up play, by both sides was very good indeed.

I'll be honest apart from a few long range shots that looked good, and the fact that they could pass accurate over more than 5 yards, they didnt actually do much, the first 3 goals I think that they had little to do with, my run of miserable 'form' continues.

"cheat
verb {I or T}
to behave in a dishonest way in order to get what you want "
I dont recall anyone behaving in a dishonest way at all. Players (not all) on both sides were fully aware of who both johnny & Mike were & should anyone have objected to either or both playing then I'm sure no one would have been offended if they'd of been asked not to play or be on different sides. As for me I thought there presence inspired some to raise their game & it certainly wasnt any kind of white wash ( as the 6-4 score shows). some very good football was played by both sides and there was a lot less arguing taking place.

To be fair, we ought to have played one of them on each side. Interestingly, I never played Johnny on the Statham Primary footie team when I was the manager despite his protestations. No wonder we never won

I know it was a few weeks back, but it was great playing against some younger, fitter, talented players. I thought both sides raised their games on the night, and as Steve says, the 6-4 deficit was no disgrace to Galaxy.
