Another match ending with controversy, but what wasn't controversial was the excellent football played. Royle worked hard marshalling midfield. Marshall commanded up front. Rovers back four were solid and never looked like being breached (whilst they were in positions). Waldron lead with a captain's performance. Rowley was sound and worked hard on Rovers left. Hodges seems to have found his home with a clean sheet during his time in net. Ward returned after a long gap and was influential going forwards. I enjoyed a rare night of running around and should have done better with a couple of opportunities offered to me. Adie did a great job as ref.

You've forgotten Fozzie's restraint of Ward in the penalty area late on in the match. Apparently the Police Complaints Authority are investigating it as an attempted wrongful arrest.

You couldn't win a general election with this level of turnout. Maybe we should just pick names out of a hat. Well done Rovers defence - solid as a rock.

I don't think the goal was controversial. I think that gentleman John McGrail was playing him on side from the right back position. Going through the CCTV footage with Hansen and Lineker we all agreed that it was a woeful bit of defending.
